I used to be able to watch youtube but now it says Flash player needed or Javascript turned off.
How do I see if Javascript is turned off.....I have had a mental blockage Crying or Very sad Laughing

You may need an update for flash or to reinstall it. The chat room uses flash, can you get into that?

Yes I can get into chat and I've tried downloading flash and it says I am up to date

Flash is available at www.adobe.com
The Java site is www.java.com

As well as settings in your browser, it might be a firewall or some anti-spyware setting that is blocking access to the u-tube videos. Try temporarily disabling the firewall or other real time shield. It is also possible at some stage, one of these applications might have asked; "Do you want to allow or block this application". If you blocked it, it might explain why you can't get access to the videos.

I see from the forum logs that are using Internet Explorer 7. To reset settings, go into Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab and click on Reset button. This gives you a few options. Most likely the best one to do is Reset browser settings. This will restore the browser to its default state.
